If you know what I’m talking about, boost this post. You probably have a few gray hairs too.
slrn sounds familiar. Back in the late 90s I used usenet. The first time was when I needed info to get my XFree86 working on my first Linux install. I used slrn because console was all I had. I don't remember how I learned to use it and don't know how now. I don't recall the rest of what you have there. I do have the gray hairs.
